So, OM is over! Hooray! And our quest for butter pork ribs brought us to Commonwealth. I totally dig Commonwealth, coz' it has this quaint, old, cozy feeling that belonged to the old 1960 Singapore. Well, this new year ain't feeling the same. I don't know, but it the atmosphere, the hype, the excitement, I'm not feeling them this year. I've not even bought any new clothes! Haha. Nothing seems to capture my attention, which screams ' BUY ME! ' except for the Topman shirt at Tampines 1 which totally reflects the Brit fashion.

Ok, food poisoning is one of the worst illness, in my opinion, one can get. It makes you feel like vomiting but you can't. You have stomach cramps like when girls have menses cramps, you shit loads and loads of brown, smelly, disgustingly disturbing water out. And the best part is, after which, you still feel like crap instead of feeling better and you're really hungry, but you totally have no appetite.

I am so annoyed by the fact that I have been poisoned by one of favourite past times and it sucks when you're going to wind surf for the first time tomorrow, not knowing if you're gonna feel better in the morning :( And I left my specs at teacher Annie's studio, which means I'll be partially blind tomorrow and the probability of me being blown all the way to Batam is relatively high.

Diarrhoea, what a eh... messy word this is? The person who came up with this word probably had a rough time in the toilet when he saw all those **** came out and couldn't think of a more obscene name for it. Well, he probably had this word spelled as 'die-rea-er' or something, but I guess the repeated sojourns to the toilet pissed him off and he decided to give it a really horrible looking and spelled name to remind him of the agonizing time he had.

It has frustration and agony spelled out all over in this post, but I had to let loose all those **** in me alright! AND I HOPE NOT IT'S NOT IN THE TOILET AGAIN...

D&D at Furama was totally, ridiculously awesome! Had a great, great, great time getting wild and crazy, burning the dance floor, shouting my throat hoarse and simply ushering in the new year with a great and awesome company.

Spent the first few hours of 2010 trying to get onboard a night rider with Joey, Eugene and Isaac, wishing every group of party-goers a happy new year and cooking scrambled eggs and noodles at Isaac's. Totally subtle and unexpected, yet very memorable and touching. I don't know, but I wouldn't have spent the first few moments of the new year any differently.

Christmas service was especially touching, cried a great load during praise and worship and even the sermon. A truly blessed and wonderful christmas and thank God so, so much for everyone in my life. 2010, here I come!

Yesterday was awesome! First the Christmas Outreach at ASC. To all the dancers: I think we did really great and we've gave our very best for God. So thank you all so much! I was glad that my mum could make it.

Child Aid concert at Resort Sands at night. Man, is that place grand or what! It is poshness to its extreme and we felt like celebrities, heh! The concert was awesome, showcasing the talents of children around our age. So inspiring was the concert that it spurred me to "upgrade" my saxophone skill. I blew that baby like some 60 year old. Sheeeeeesh....

My grams is the most courageous woman I've known. Despite her condition, she is still fighting, fighting on really strong. Flea at St James and a wet, cold night :D SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

Went to Marina Square after dance on saturday with Chenyin, Joey, Ranie, Eugene and Naomi. There is this arcade which is like filled with all the "scooping" machines and Naomi practically went gaga over the one which had loads, I mean loads, of Elmo and Cookie Monster. So, we ended up spending nearly $40 trying to win the jackpot, which we eventually did! The excitement is insane! My hands were trembling (yes trembling. Imagine, over Cookie Monsters) and my head throbbed like crap while we "OOOOOH!", "AHHHHHH!" and gasped 2 plus hours away trying to push the stupid lead into the hole. But we won, so who cares! We sure did attract a crowd who must thought that we were insane.

Poly life ain't that easy as alot of people think it is. Projects after projects, researching late into the night and having to wake up for lectures and tutorials tmr morning at 8, it takes a toll on the body some way or another. However, I should not grumble too much, nor should I dread school because there are loads of young children out there who want to study but do not have the opportunity to. And waking up early can be cultured, I think. But that means I won't be able to grow taller! Ahhh!

We are living in a world of perfection; everyone strives to be the best at what they can achieve. Some people just have that slight advantage over others, while some are blessed with gifts that others aren't so fortunate to have. Pressurized, many of us are forced into becoming someone whom we are not, or working hard to become one of the "supreme" or "elite". Good looks, good academics, good in sports, talented, rich, the list goes on and on. We all are chasing them. We are being sucked into this vortex of "perfection", and even if you don't feel the pull yet, you will be influenced to jump on the bandwagon. And soon, I realized I was one of them.

Your face, it makes me smile. It allows me to temporarily forget the burdens that are tying me down from enjoying life and living life to its fullest.

I love saturday, coz it's the only day of a week that I feel truly emancipated and relaxed. Having breakfast at Yakun, coffee at Starbucks, dancing at Annie laoshi's studio, lunch with Chenyin, Eugene and Ranie; I look forward to saturdays every week. Actually, sundays aren't that bad either! Church and the rest of the day spend recuperating, getting ready to start a new week.

Man, it is only the 4th week into the new semester and am I having a hangover from the holidays. With so many projects and tests ahead, the future looks dull and bleak man. Plus the recent dilemma I am facing, I need a breather of sort to clear things out.

This picture is nostalgic; Lau Pat Sat after CO's concert around a year ago. I miss Wo Feng like seriously! Amanda dropped by and tagged a note which brought me back to the old days in primary and secondary school. This is the first time I felt like I have changed; Attitude, emotions, maturity and many more. Peiyi mentioned that when she first knew me, I was more "informal", less serious. But seriousness aside, I think I've lost the childishness and bad attitude I had when I was younger.

Speaking of first, I participated in my first dance competition on Sunday. Many thanks to Gwen, though I feel real bad coz' I felt like I let her down. I guess everybody has his/her first time in everything. What hits me can't bring me down, it only makes me wanna do better.

I thank God, from the deepest of heart, for everything that has happened and everyone he has surrounded me with love and care.

I am stuck at Coffee Bean at Paya Lebar, waiting for Annie laoshi to open her studio. Three days in and school is pretty much the same. Nothing interesting, nothing boring, well not yet.. Caught 500 days of summer with my classmates at Cineleisure on the Monday (we acted as if it was the last day of school when it was actually the first!) and man is Zooey Deschanel charming or what! She has that 1960's charm and attractiveness and that dreamy, unpredictable personality so totally suits her.

It just struck me how many gems are there in Singapore which many people have not noticed. Little alleys and sidewalks, old shop houses which boast interesting and hip concepts or simply just the quaint, old Singapura road-side stalls that paint the much unknown streets and corners of Singapore with a myriad of colours evoke an explainable feeling of familiarity and belonging inside me. I love to wander around aimlessly, chancing upon little streets near Mustafa and Farrer Park to just simply soak in the homely, cozy feeling.

Now sitting in the corner of Coffee Bean alone, I truly appreciate how safe and secure Singapore is. Call it the post Project Hope syndrome, but I so wished I could have done much more to help out the victims of the disaster-struck areas in Indonesian and the Philippines.

My breakthrough: Finding and docking Photo Booth on my Mac, much to the delight of Chenyin who hogged it while we were on our way to Annie laoshi's studio. Dance exam! The adjudicator took pretty damn long to look at our routines, so many of us were perpetually panting after the exams. Many thanks to Gwen who very patiently partnered and guided me for my routines. I should rejoice, since everyone passed, so cheer up Jasmine, you did well.

So happy to have met up with Graci after what seems like eons since we last saw each other. Love you and take care. Damn, it's that kinda feeling holidays give me. You feel like a couch potato and real shit sitting at home doing nothing and watching clouds float in the sky, yet when there's something to do, you dread doing it. Such is the irony right! I mean man, holidays should be enjoyable! And the prospect of an exciting cruise trip coming up should really perk things up.

I still need to get some stuff, get a whole bunch stuff settled before I can lie in the shade on Superstar Virgo and soak in the September sun with my class mates. Wey Jian needs a job, period. Went for a pass port collection today. First from Wei Siong at Douby Ghaut. Really sorry I was late! Next was from Rina at Kallang and last from Anne Marie at Woodlands. I tell you, I'm too used to the East, when I was at Woodlands, I felt like I was a tourist! When I saw the MRT station, I panicked and got down, thinking that it was Yew Tee. In the end, after looking around like some lost tourist, I found out it was Admiralty. Woodlands is weird as well! Honestly, the North is like funnily weird. But I wouldn't mind moving to Yishun though. There's Yakun, Starbucks and a bubble tea shop near/in North Point. AWESOME! Haha!

Starbucks having some free coffee thing tmr, great job! Haha! I'm so gonna jio someone to go down with me. Meanwhile, the Starbucks at City Hall had a facelift and man! Does it look awesome or what! There's an Italian alfresco feel to it, which totally rocks smelly socks. Paper Market makes the place even more enticing.

Just arrived home from DTRM camp. A real, good bath and time to retire soon.

Just struck my mind how many interesting things happened during the past 2/3 days. Knew a handful of DTRM mates whom I have not noticed sitting behind me during Mr Tan's alluring PACC lectures. That was what made me enjoyed the camp the most. Many thanks to the year 2s for organizing it, Eugene for your help, Yue Wen, Shawn and Yu Lian and many many more.

My feet are damn sore from dancing, and exam is like 11 October so I guess I'll have to suck it all up and carry on practicing. Holidays are here, and I'm damn hoping it would not end coz I can getting addicted to waking up at 10 in the morning, going down to Yakun to have breakfast, go for swim and idle the rest of the day away. I need a job, to spice things up and I'm really looking forward to working with Ms Emida on the National Geography ad. Meanwhile, Ion seems to be my second home, especially since more shops are starting to sprout out. Pull and Bear is da' bomb man! Haha! Great time to revamp before the cruise trip and start enjoying the rest of the holidays.

Speaking of revamping, I realized we tend to spend a bit more to pamper ourselves in bad times, especially since things are cheaper and people are more willing to spend. It is mad, and I can get addicted to it as well, but heck, since we have the time to do so, why not right?

Was on the train home just now and happened to eavesdrop a conversation between and English man and a Californian pilot. Makes me really proud of our Changi Airport as according to the English man, he said it was very clean, and though he didn't see any cleaners, it was just clean. It was pretty funny hearing them talking about how some superstars died in helicopters or Brad Pitt/ Tom Cruise telling his wife not to make a sound when giving birth. Liverpool is in Singapore! Skipped stats on Friday to head to Velocity with BFF and Jeremy to catch a glimpse of Fernando Torres and Jamie Carragher. The whole experience felt so unreal; being in the presence of two international football stars was a damn amazing feeling. What's more, I got to see Torres' and Carragher's faces, real life! Heh!

It was a great experience- I had goosebumps when the fans started singing You Will Never Walk Alone in the tent beside the road. Totally amazing. The best part was I misplaced my specs in school just before heading down to Velocity. Just great...

The match yesterday was a thriller! A sea of red emerged from Kallang MRT station as if a mobile Red Sea flooded the streets leading to National Stadium. Great atmosphere and as according to my sister, Singaporeans are more civilized. Went down to HCA yesterday and talked to Germaine. Pass her the storyboard and the CD with all pictures of the zoo trip. I'm really glad that we were able to make a difference in their lives, as much as they have made in ours'. It is one experience that's hard to come by, but yet it finishes, it makes enriches one's life and I definitely learnt alot from the trip.

阿德is the funniest! He's from Hong Kong but his Chinese IS THE WORST! HAHA! There was this part he said "那个路很che!" What he meant was actually the road is really steep, coz "che" means steep in Cantonese. He's damn hilarious! The Japanese lady is super funny as well! She reminds me of how Cardcaptor Sakura speaks in the anime show.

There was this episode which everyone had to eat durian (meanwhile, 阿德pronounces it as "老人") and the Korean lady said "老师，我的口有脚的味道。好像吃了袜子."

I think what is really interesting is how all these "students" on the show come from different parts of the world can come together and share about the different cultures and habits.

Some really cool Hong Kong card expert appeared on 综艺大哥大and showed how to differentiate the different shapes and numbers of a deck of Poker cards. It is seriously damn interesting coz according to him, every producer will print something unique on the each Poker card to make each of them different. Went out with Faith on Sunday to Bugis to look-see for clothes. He is totally crazy over gals, seriously! He bought berms and I bought two shirts which I totally dig it! I think most of the time were spent like looking at shop-keepers.

Dinner out at Hook On Steamboat at ECP with Ben, Reuben, Jo and ShuYi joined us later. Haven't seen Ben for like months and man, he is failing, BIG TIMES! Haha! Let's go Hong Kong soon alright!

Went to zoo with Jasmine today after stats make-up. I think the zoo still looks the same, somehow. The "MO" is damn strong, honestly! (Monkey Odour) We had a tiring time looking around, saw some obscene scenes at the Orang Utan, smelled some fox perfume and scared the shit out of me by entering the tropical forest trial. I swear, Jasmine is damn evil. Next time if I'm to be reborned as an insect, I'll be a bee :D I love the sunbears and the penguins, but I think they are all like us; having a hiatus coz it's holidays.

I have nothing bad to say if some shops have bad service attitude in the neighbourhood. But I seriously cannot stand those black sheep in shopping malls who tarnish the image of the shop and reflect how fucking lousy their character is. One example would be the Sweetalk lady at AMK Hub. Seriously, what fucking lousy service attitude is that! Not happy then don't work lah, fuckkface. I hate to admit it but these black sheep are seriously tarnishing the image of Singapore's service and hospitality. I love Saturdays! I love Graci and Chenyin, totally! :D

Sometimes, it's kinda tiring and demanding, but with friends like y'all, I feel really blessed.

I want to improve, I want to love, I want to enjoy, I want to do so many things. Sometimes, I feel like I'm pushing myself too much.

But unless we push ourselves, we never know what we are actually capable of.

I want to push myself, to become a better person.

Woke up today early to go to school to do EC project. Accountancy was .... as usual. Faith elbows me everywhere, anytime :(

SINGAPORE ARTS FESTIVAL IS HERE! 15 MAY TO 14 JUNE! Too bad H3's performance is on a weekday; if it is during the weekend, I would definitely buy the ticket :( The Music of Final Fantasy concerts tickets are sold out as well! :( BOOOO!

Firstly, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL! :D I LOVE YOU MUM! Went to some restaurant to have dinner on Saturday night and I must say, my grams is sooooooo cute! Haha! Surprized Mum with a cake on Sunday night. Once again, the cake was BLACKFOREST CAKE! Haha! I swear if we ever migrate to somewhere where we can do plantation, the first thing we are gonna do it plant blackforest.

Went to Noelle's parents shop to do my laptop skin. It's gonna get a facelift and I'm so damn excited!

I must apologize for spreading the flu/runny nose virus to Amalya and Jeremy and maybe even to Faith. I should have quarantined myself and that's what I did today. So sorry to everyone who has flu/runny nose because of me :/ Hope y'all recover soon yup! Thanks to Carrise, Faith and Cheerene who called/texted me to ask if I'm ok :D
